 Adam Eberle Naturalization Certificate

Elizabeth I don't have a picture of your Great Great- Grandfather and Grandmother Eberle on Theresa Schwartz Gunn's side but here is a copy from the naturalization record from the court house here where he signed his name! (Adam Eberle) I don't know when he died or where is grave is! She (Magdalena) was born 1819 and died 1996 and is buried at St. Peter's cemetary up around German Ridge! The story told is they came from Prussia in 1847, leaving their two children, Katherine and Fred with Relatives until they made enough money to send for their children. Took them five years! Katherine and Fred came on a ship by themselves with a tag on a string around their necks so they would know who they were and where to bring them. They say they were supposed to get off here at St. Louis Ave. dock but they took them on to St. Louis Missouri and they had to send them back! Aunt Rosie

This is your GG Grandfather borned in Baveria 1834. Unknown when he died but it was before 1900! Him and GG Grandmother Mary Barbara are supposed to be buried at German Ridge but we can't find any stones!.

David F. Gunn and Mahala Sampsons Wedding

This is the marriage certification from the original book at the Corydon Court House This is your Great-Great-Great Grandparents David F. Gunn borned in Va. circa 1812, and Mahala Sampson borned in Indiana 1814-1838.This is Wyatt, Columbus and Sarah (LIttle) parents. After she died David F. Married a Unus Hunt. He went down river with a flat boat and was never heard from again. It is thought they were killed or drowned!

Mary  B. Sterk Fichtner-Barbara Fichtner Gunn's Mother. 1837-1902

This is Elizabeth's GG Grandmother borned in Baveria and came to the United States in 1871 with her husband Christopher and children Catherine, Margaret(Maggie), Elizabeth and Barbara. There were two more children borned in America, Tillie and
Christopher. Tillie died at an early age (30) with consumption (TB) Chris. was injured when a tree fell on him at the age of 20 and died with blood poisioning! Tillie died young (31) with TB also as did their mother in 1902. Elizabeth(Armstrong) died in 1901, Catherine ( Haag) died in 1952, Maggie (Rickert) died in 1947 and Barbara (Gunn) died in 1963.
